Buena Park Neighbors hosted its Fall Community Meeting via Facebook Live on October 5.
The annual government affairs meeting included a personal message from State Senator Sara Feigenholtz on her legacy and dedication to the community in which she serves. Father Manuel Dorantes and Director of Outreach & Justice Ministry, Claire DesHotels, of St. Mary of the Lake shared updates on their community outreach initiatives and Sue Levine-Kelley provided updates on the exciting new partnership with Brennemann Elementary School.
Curt Wiley said farewell and thanked the community for their support during his 3 year tenure as President of Buena Park Neighbors. Executive Board elections were held and the following individuals were announced as the new Executive Board of Buena Park Neighbors:
Rosa Haraf – President
Asher Mayerson – Vice President
Jessica Eanes – Secretary
Alice Leahy – Treasurer
Rosa Haraf expressed her love for Buena Park and her lifetime dedication to giving back to the community in which she lives. She also introduced the Strategic Plans for the upcoming year which was thoughtfully executed and reviewed by incoming Vice President, Asher Mayerson.

The 2021 Winter Community Meeting is tentatively planned for January of next year. Additional meeting information will be shared in the new year.
