September 28: Remedying Rental Conditions
This free legal clinic to help tenants develop strategies to request repairs for their rental conditions. Join us for assistance in drafting a demand letter to your landlord, clarification on what conditions your landlord has a responsibility to repair, and other strategies to lawfully withhold your rent and protect your rights as a renter.
October 26: Tenant’s Rights During Eviction
This Know Your Rights presentation on eviction court for tenants will give information on what to expect in case of an eviction, how best to prepare for court, and where to seek assistance.
November 2: Social Security Overpayment Appeals
Get assistance with your Social Security Overpayment Appeal. Get help filling out an appeal and/or a waiver of an overpayment, familiarize yourself with the process and prepare for next steps, and learn how to avoid overpayments in the future.
