Buena Park Business Spotlight: Uptown Fitness

We are excited to continue our Business Partners spotlight series with Buena Park’s neighborhood gym, Uptown Fitness Center (previously World Gym).

Uptown Fitness

Proud to be a neighborhood gym for over 30 years, Uptown Fitness is a place where fitness is normal. They offer a variety of classes and amenities including steam rooms, saunas, tanning beds, and a pool during the summer months.

They also have excellent personal trainers to help members see results faster. And they offer on-site child care and senior fitness options.

Al Phillips, the President of Uptown Fitness, is a legend in the health club business, not just in Chicago, but across the pond as well. Princess Diana attended the opening of one of his gyms in London and even talked about signing up! “Can I get a deal?” she asked him.

Being a neighborhood gym, they consider themselves to be the fitness hub of the Uptown area. They strive to ensure their members are happy and satisfied with their facility.

They often run special promotions throughout the year and do their best to work with members to find a membership that is right for them. Be sure to follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to stay up to date with their promotions!
