A Fun Eveining at Pride Theater for Buena Park Neighbors General Meeting

Buena Park residents heard from board members and Alderman Cappleman who addressed issues and concerns in our community.

The dedicated team behind the new Broadway Youth Center which will open its doors at 4009 N Broadway gave a presentation on its mission. It is a division of Howard Brown Health Center, and its mission is to support good quality of life for LGBTQ youth, particularly those who are homeless and in desperate need of financial assistance for basic needs.

The evening’s entertainment included songs from “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.” The score of the musical comedy-of-errors included well-known pop numbers like “It’s Raining Men,” “A Fine Romance,” and “Shake Your Groove Thing.”

The meeting will end with cake and coffee and an array of locally assembled gift baskets featuring treats from wine to dinners to events which were raffled off.
