How long have you been living in Buena Park?

Favorite thing about living in Buena Park?
Having so much right in our own backyard…amazing businesses, close to the lake, diversity, beautiful homes and buildings, and most importantly, the best people I have been around in my life!
I did my post college program in Disney World and participated in a variety of events throughout the parks; not only did I get to learn a ton from a variety of experts but I got to meet people from around the world.
Why did you choose to get involved with BPN?
It’s a community that has provided me with so much that I want to give back and continue to find ways of improving our neighbor’s lives.
Within your BPN role, what is one thing you’re looking forward to working towards for Buena Park as a community?
The ability to continue to foster and strengthen various types of relationships that consist of the unique diversity our community consists of. This will be performed in a variety of ways, from simple service to larger, more complex events, that allow people to participate in ways they feel bring value to the community as a whole as well each person individually.

Favorite thing about living in Buena Park?
It’s hard to pick out just one thing; I love the neighborly community vibe within a big city, the lake, the diversity, the beautiful architecture, trees, local establishments, and safety. Truly a gem.
What’s a “fun fact” about you?
I have been in 4 separate dancing incidents that have resulted in ER visits. (I am not a professional dancer lol)
Why did you choose to get involved with BPN?
I want to activate the community to do more for our environment.
Within your BPN role, what is one thing you’re looking forward to working towards for Buena Park as a community?
I look forward to getting more people to share resources — coolers, shovels, tools, etc.

How long have you been living in Buena Park?
It’ll be 3 years in Feb.
Favorite thing about living in Buena Park?
I love the proximity to the Lake and how I can walk everywhere (restaurants & bars, library, coffee shops, you name it). But most importantly, it’s the community that truly makes this place special.
What’s a “fun fact” about you?
My full last name has a total of 19 letters in it. If you are curious, come ask me at the Happy hour event 😉
Why did you choose to get involved with BPN?
I believe that any of us can contribute and make a difference in our community. Also I look forward to putting my Excel skill to work!
Within your BPN role, what is one thing you’re looking forward to working towards for Buena Park as a community?
I look forward to both supporting and volunteering for the wonderful community events that are coming up.

How long have you been living in Buena Park?
2 years.
Favorite thing about living in Buena Park?
Its access to fresh water and architectural beauty. The neighborhood has so much charm!
What’s a “fun fact” about you?
While professionally a graphic designer, I am pretty big into playing the drums. Thanks to many hours of the video game, Rock Band, I am completely a self-taught drummer. I played in various bands before moving to Chicago, including a punk band that got me acquainted to the dive bars around Grand Rapids, Michigan. But now that I’m in Chicago, I’m excited to get into “the scene” and getting back into music!
Why did you choose to get involved with BPN?
Buena Park has been an incredible source of joy and fascination since my wife and I moved here. The spirit of the people, the wholesomeness, the energy, and the very apparent dedication. I’m eager to contribute and help BPN continue shining its brightest!
Within your BPN role, what is one thing you’re looking forward to working towards for Buena Park as a community?
Looking forward to interacting with everyone in the community and finding ways to elevate the stories and highlighting experiences that bring everyone together!
