Who We Are

Founded in 1997, Buena Park Neighbors is a 46th Ward neighborhood association of more than 200 residents, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations in the nationally registered Buena Park Historic District. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone in Buena Park.

General Buena Park Events

We hold a variety of events throughout the year, including:

〉Four (4) General Meetings. Speakers include Alderman James Cappleman, local businesses and community leaders

〉Buena Bunnies, our annual Easter basket drive for St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, netted more than 100 baskets for underprivileged neighborhood children

〉Clean & Green volunteer neighborhood cleanup in April and September

〉Annual neighborhood game at Wrigley Field

〉Summertime concerts in Buena Circle Park in June and August

〉Docent-led architecture tours of Hutchinson Street

〉Buena Pumpkin Neighbors, our annual safe trick-or-treating event along Kenmore, had record participation with more than 300 kids in attendance

〉Several neighborhood socials throughout the year at local watering holes
