A capacity crowd of over 120 residents came together at the Uptown Library on a recent Tuesday night to hear from all six of the candidates running for Alderman in the 46th ward. Candidates were asked about their positions on education, crime, housing and community development, economic development and more over the 90 minutes forum.
Curt Wiley, moderator and Buena Park Neighbors President said, “We have a great group of candidates for the 46th ward alderman and the turnout for the event far exceeded our expectation which suggests that our ward will continue to have one of the highest voter participation rates in the city for these elections.”
Attendees were invited to join the candidates after the forum for a continuing conversation at the Bar on Buena.
