Lots to Do at Uptown Public Library in February

We have two programs in celebration of African American History Month. 1) A month-long Booksibition of Terry Abrahamson’s new book, The Blues Parade.  Panels of The Blues Parade will be on exhibit in our community room during February. We will have a grand premiere of The Blues Parade on February 8 from 2:00PM-4:30PM.  2) A Zine Making Workshop by Columbia College on Thursday, February 27 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM.

Join author and Buena Park neighbor Terry Abrahamson for The Blues Parade, a personal tour of his Booksibition depicting the story, the artists and the music that became the Chicago Blues.  All ages are welcome!

Thursday evenings from 6:00PM – 7:00PM
Saturday afternoons from 2:00PM – 3:00PM           
Join new English speakers for an hour of English conversation.  All are welcome!
